Happy Filipino American History Month, everyone!

There’s a lot happening this month, so I wanted to send a quick note with a few updates and ways to connect.

First, we have our next FANHS NJ meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, October 6, from 7:00–8:00 PM over Google Meet. If you’d like to join and don’t already have the calendar invite, just let me know and I’ll send it your way.

This Saturday, we’ll also be at LigayaFest in Metuchen! We’re looking forward to seeing many of you there. FANHS NJ will have a presence throughout the day, mostly to talk with folks about what we’re building together, hear what people want to see from the chapter, and point people toward fanhsnj.org so they can stay connected.

You can register for LigayaFest here: [LINK]

And there is A LOT happening across the Filipino American community for Filipino American History Month. If you’re looking for more ways to celebrate and connect, here are a couple of great resources:

Jan Vincent and the Pilipino Ka Ba? team have also put together a great list of events: [LINK]

Lots moving, and lots more to come. Looking forward to seeing many of you tomorrow, at LigayaFest, or somewhere out in the community this month.

Happy FAHM!
